Jesus & the wifi

Uncomfortable food for thought

“God is just what happens when humanity is connected” – the words of Jim Gilliam,CEO of 3dna at the Personal Democracy Forum 2011 earlier this week.. This is a long video (at least for a blog post) at 12 minutes – but it is well worth watching.

It is a powerful testimony in every sense. There are many ways in which Christians far more able than I will wish to engage critically with it. Some may even feel it relates to my earlier post about the Paris syndrome in church. It is a heartfelt account about a loss of faith in God and the discovery of faith in people connected through the internet.

However, for now let me ask this question  – with reference to my post on Uriah Tweep, is it not possible to have both?
